Flip's Focus December

Flip's Photos Focus Newsletter

Hi there!
Another month has flown by and we are happy to share our most recent events, news and happenings here at our studio.

Enjoy,
Jesse & Susan Flippen

Zooming In on the Now:

We are very happy to introduce a new Flippen into our family, Maximus Flippen.
A healthy beautiful baby boy was born Tuesday, November 25th to Ricardo and Lynette Flippen.

On November 1st we attended the Scotts Valley Chamber of Commerce 2008 Community Awards Dinner at the Chaminade. It was a pleasure to attend and applaud so many people and organizations for their work in our community. One of those organizations was the Scotts Valley Fire Department who won Organization of the Year. We had firsthand experience working with each one of Scotts Valley Fire Departments good men and women in September when we photographed their individual and group portraits. We believe they truly deserve such an honor. Congratulations.

We wish you and your family a very happy and safe holiday and New Year!

Capturing The Fall Fun:

The Delucci Family

We had the opportunity to capture this family’s unique family portrait backdrop. We were ecstatic to use this 61’ Chevy Truck as our prop. It goes to show that the possibilities for anyone’s Family Portrait are endless. If you have a unique idea, we are happy to hear it and do our best to make it happen for you.

Jesse Teaches 7 Steps to Better Photography Class:

We had a great turn-out for our 7 Steps to Better Photography class at the Scotts Valley Library on October21st. Jesse taught a free class to help photographers of all levels learn 7 new steps on photography. We were pleased with the response and proud to meet aspiring photographers. There was a lot of great questions for Jesse as well as discussion and a collective sharing of information and what I call camera talk after the class. We even had patrons of the library scooting closer during the class to listen in!
We’d like to thank Pat Lorenzo Manager of the Scotts Valley Branch Library, as well as her staff, for having us and helping us have a wonderful evening.
Keep watch for more classes in the Spring.
